World Italian week to be celebrated in Uganda

The 15th edition of the world Italian week will celebrated in Uganda all thanks to the President of the Republic of Italy and the Italian Embassy in Uganda. The tour will feature jazz maestro, Andrea Pagani .

They will first perform tomorrow at the Italian Ambassador’s residence at Plot 10 Hill Lane in Kololo, this will be in an invite only event. The group will also perform on Friday at the National theatre and will also be at Jazzville in Bugoloobi on Saturday. All shows will cost Shs20,000

The Andrea Pagani will be performing their new project titled Songs without voices where they will be playing Italian Jazz songs.

Born in Rome, ANDREA PAGANI is a pianist, a keyboardist, a composer and an arranger. He features in several collaborations with Italian and international artists such as Roberto Ciotti, Enrico Montesano, Acusti­mantico, Frank Catalano and Enzo Scoppa among others

The show will not only feature Andrea Pagain but will also have some of the Ugandan performers like Baximba Waves and Roy Kasika.

All the events are organized by Bayimba Foundation and the Embassy of Italy in Uganda.
