Shida Leni and Godwin Byamukama have lifted the Ugandan Flag high by Advancing to the next rounds at World University Games Gwangju South Korea.
Shida booked herself a semifinal slot in the women’s 400m by winning her heat in 54.03 well as Byamukama advanced to the 2nd round of the 100m after fining third in 8 0.17.Mean while Obuto Solomon did not advance to the next round despite finishing sixth in 10.77
Shida Leni is expected back in action tomorrow and other Ugandans Ajok Docus and Aneno Susan competing in the 800m.
