The Host of a television dating show on uganda’s NTV has resigned her job at the Station. Anita Fabiola who has been the host of Be My Date one of the country’s two dating shows says she has resigned because ”she feels she let down her funs and needs to take time of to deal with humiliation”
A victim of revenge porn, Anita’s nude pictures were recently released on social media platforms by someone she says had access to her phone. ”i did not send my pictures to anyone whoever released them had access to my phone”
While the Minister of ethics has been busy witch hunting victims of revenge porn, there have been calls for the government to Pass a law similar to the one in the UK penalizing revenge porn in order to protect the victims most of whom have been women.
Dear Fans, I wanna thank you for the support you gave me from day one. I have learnt a lot and enjoyed our journey together. The last week hasnt been easy, no woman would like to show their body to complete strangers. Much as I am a victim, I feel like I let you all down as I result I have decided to take a media break as I deal with the humiliation.
