Uganda Cranes Midfielder Musa Mudde has officially abandoned troubled AFC Leopards to sign for the Mombasa based club Bandari FC on a free transfer.

According to Bandari FC Mudde has penned a one and half year deal for the Kenya Premier League side side after terminating his contract with financially troubled giants AFC Leopards.
“We have signed Mudde on a free transfer as he has terminated his contract with Leopards over breach of contract. Musa is a utility player we expect to help us for the remaining months of the season” confirmed Edwin Oduor Bandari technical director
“He is the kind of player we were looking for and he is the only one we intend to sign, “He added
However details of the Contractual deal is undisclosed but the Club hopes Mudde Musa will help them settle for a promising position in the Kenya Premier League this season.
The 25 year old Defensive Midfielder first played professional football at Sofapaka before joining Simba SC but he got injured a month later forcing him to fallout with the club which reportedly ignored him during that spell
Mudde has been instrumental in helping Ingwe perform and was named man of the match when makeshift AFC Leopards beat Sofapaka 1-0 at Nyayo Stadium last week.
His departure will be a big blow to the struggling club, who are expected to lose a number of key players due to financial problems.
Already AFC Leopards has released six players including their captain Martin Imbalambala. Others are goalkeeper Joel Bataro, Clement Mmata, Dennis Dodi, Titus Wamalwa and Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani.
Bandari are currently placed eighth on the KPL log with 23 points after 16 games played.
