Ugandan startup Spotfinder puts entertainment spots a click away

Spotfinder.ug a Ugandan web startup will be putting Uganda entertainment spots online making it easy for its customers to find the nearest entertainment spot in the country’s major capitals.
Created By Estellalden Creative an IT consultancy led by Steven Bukenya and his Partners John Luswata and Musali Dennis.
The Trio met in high school in Jinja and according to Musali, they have been experimenting with ideas of an online startup and had a go an Online shopping with a website called klik Uganda in 2008 and this was way before Africa’s Big boys in online shopping,Olx, Kaymu and Jumia moved into the East African country and the country’s entrepreneurs had yet to realize it potential as an online shopping hub, something that changed with the popularization of Facebook and Facebook shopping groups..
After the trio’s failed attempt in 2008, Musali says they have been looking for something unique and he believes that with spotfinder.ug, they have finally found it.
The trio has dreams of expanding Spotfinder.ug to be the go to directory in Uganda for anybody looking to find a spot in Uganda.
With integrated Maps, Spotfinder.ug helps you calculate the walking or driving distance to wherever you want to go, Denis Musali one of the Founders says the website will be integrated payment systems to make it easy for people to reserve tables in entertainment spots, book rooms at hotels etc.
