Sports Club Villa celebrates 40 years of existence with Singer Mampi

For the first time in the history of Uganda, a party was thrown and graced by both sports and entertainment lovers; this was the party in commemoration of the 40 years of sc Villa.

After a Kasiki which was organized at Guvnor a week ago, the real event came to pass last night (Friday) with a dinner party at Hotel Africana Nile Hall

The headliner of performers for the night was Zambian Singer Mampi, she has been in the country before for a performance. She sent the crowd in awe with her nice dance strokes and her luganda like lyrics. She sang songs like swiririri, Nina Kuona, Malokoza, Kampamba and Nkaniamong others.

The other artistes who performed at the event included Rema, Chris Evans, Mathias Walukagga and Mary Batta but it was Afrigo Band

Like the new Villa motto says, “No fun without fans” the clubfans stormed the venue clad in blue villa jerseys while invited guests simply dressed in suits.

His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who was the guest of honour gave the club a brand new bus.

To end the night, the club president Engineer Immanuel Ben Misagga was joined by other officials to cut the cake which marked the anniversary celebrations.
