Uganda’s Stuart Kavuma aka Deejay Slick Stuart has added another feather to his cap with another continental nomination.
The easy going and soft-spoken disk jockey was nominated in the category of the ‘Event DJ of the year’’ in this year’s 2023 Africa Event Awards.
The good news came shortly after the father of one hired the services of one of the most respected, successful and decorated female brand managers, one Nisha Bridgette under her management company, Vybes Talent Uganda Limited.
The winner in this category will be determined by public votes, through a voting portal now available for public participation.
Formerly known as the Ghana Event Awards, the Africa Events Awards was established in 2016 to recognise the exceptional efforts made by African event managers and organisers in curating impactful and memorable event experiences across the continent.
This year’s event, scheduled to be held at the South Africa High Commissioner’s Residence on September 22, 2023, will bring together emerging and established entertainers, industry players, and influencers who have contributed immensely to the growth of Africa’s event industry. Winners for each category will be announced at the gala night.
