Desire Luzinda was the main artiste lined up to perform at the Miss Tourism Eastern event, when they were announcing the event to the Bagishu during day time, the MC’s on the truck could barely mention that the event was Miss Tourism, the only thing they mentioned was Desire Luzinda owekitone will be performing tonight.
The Mbale people did not disappoint, they came in big numbers for the show, and among the people who came was the omukuka (Kabaka) of Mbale.
Desire took to the stage at around 1am receiving much applause from the Bamasaaba, dressed in a short white skirt; the singer did not come from back stage like usually, she rather came from the crowd.
All males in the crowd wanted to have a taste of the singer, some drunkards touched but not for long, the old ones just looked, admired and danced from far. Meanwhile during the event, Racheal Ojakol was crowned Miss Tourism Eastern region.
