Last week, the organisers of the Popnjam concert featuring American RnB star Ne-yo announced that the tickets will be on sale. The tickets were not on sale until today (Thursday). The tickets went on sale and the everybody who trusted their pockets and couldn’t go through the hustle of taking beer to win tickets were up and down to get one.
Only 5,000 tickets are available and are on a first come first serve basis. “When the 5,000 tickets are done, there will be no more option but to use the bottle tops to win” said the Mr Nyimpini Mabunda, the Managing Director at Uganda Breweries Limited.
Ne-yo is expected to arrive in the country on Wednesday; he will have radio and Tv interviews until Friday when the concert will take place at Cricket Oval in Lugogo.
The tickets go for Shs120,000 VIP and Shs60,000 ordinary, the tickets can be found at Nakumatt Oasis, Capital Shoppers Nakawa, Oryx Fuel Station Lugogo, and House of Walker at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel and on the tikiti app.
