As President Museveni summoned Mbabazi and Rugunda over hate message on social media between Bakiga and Bahima, i promised to warn my kinsmen and women.
Last year around July, I talked to a Brig Gen from another region of Uganda over Museveni-Mbabazi political fight.
He said Bakiga-Banyankole should learn from Acholi-Langi fight.
Even if Museveni rules for 50 years or other Westerners end his rule at 30 years, us the Westerners must avoid falling upon hard times that will fall collapse of regime led by our Kinsmen.
To accuse Mbabazi of the hate message is going far but him as Presidential Candidate must address this issue.
When Kayunga saga happened, the roads blocked were going to Western Uganda where people believe chicken, goats and cattle put on shoes. Most vehicles with lead cars take that route, President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Police Boss, Prison Boss and 32 cabinet Ministers.
At functions we see nice cars with body guards, money and power.
But majority of you people make your money through the market place because the other routes are not easy according to Uganda politics where those in power become rich as the other feed on left overs.
A recent visit to Jinja, Soroti, Gulu markets, i have not seen such in Kigezi or Ankole. The fastest growing towns are not in Western Uganda.
Bakiga and Banyankole are not surviving because these men are leading this 30 year old government.
Fight over issues not ethnicity. If you have failed to handle power and money, know other regions are not happy.
The Presidential contest should not go beyond issues.
When Museveni, Mbabazi, Muntu and Besigye are gone, I want to visit Kampala or any other region as a citizen not a westerner.
I wish Museveni, Mbabazi, Muntu and Besigye a happy political contest not a bloody one.
