A devastating road accident that transpired at Naama Village along the Mityana-Mubende highway has claimed the lives of at least four individuals.
The collision occurred on Wednesday, involving a Mitsubishi Fuso truck with registration number UBK 415N, which collided head-on with an Isuzu tipper truck bearing the number UBH 369J at approximately 5 pm.
Racheal Kawala, the spokesperson for Wamala Regional Police, identified one of the deceased as 25-year-old Robert Bukenya, a resident of Naama Village in Mityana Municipality, who was the driver of the Isuzu tipper. The identities of the other three victims are yet to be ascertained.
