The first one man comedy show in Uganda was first held by Kenneth Kimuli also known as Pablo. Pablo who held his show a few years ago didn’t inspire other comedians to hold their own.
Early this year, Comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi held his one man show dubbed Man from Ombokolo. The man from Ombokolo was a successful show to the extent that it inspired almost all comedians to start one.
The next comedian to do one man show was Afande Kerekere, Mariachi also held on recently, King Kong will also hold a show this Friday (tomorrow).
Latest reaching us is that one of the funniest comedians in Uganda is set to hold a one man show, the show dubbed Kapale Mu Smart English show is due next week on Thursday. Mc Kapale who is known at cracking Luganda jokes thought at times very funny is set to crack ribs on his own show at Theatre Labonita.
The show will feature singers like Bobi Wine, Sheeba and Diana Nalubega among others.
MC Kapale is a Ugandan comedian who rose to fame a few years ago. He is also seen at several comedy shows in Uganda. Some of the places he performs at are Laftaz comedy lounge and Theatre Labonita.
Entrance to his show will be Shs40,000 for VIP and Shs25,000 for ordinary
