KCB got off the blocks on a fast pace, getting a goal in the 13th minute through striker Cyprian Onyango.

The ever industrious Bernard Mang’oli scored his first goal of the campaign when he finished off a Joseph Wanyonyi’s cross in the 35th after the KCB defenders got mixed up in the danger area.

In the second half, Michael Khamati twice called KCB keeper Zachary Onyango into action with fierce shots with Wanyonyi also getting close. Francis Ndaaka conceded a penalty which Elly Asieche failed to convert later on in the half.

Coach Zdravko Logarusic pulled out Fredrick Ndaaka for Lamine Diallo and Patrick Kagogo for Ivan Naguyo as he sought to add punch into the attack. Joseph ‘Pablo Njuguna also came in for Wanyonyi as the match came to a close.

The much needed goal for Leopards came deep inside Injury time when Kagogo curled in a free-kick from the edge of the box to bring Ingwe back to winning ways
