Kampala Fashion Week returns

Running with the theme of “Motivating, Inspiring, and Creating Artistry”, Kampala Fashion Week (KFW) returns in full flair on 12th November at the hip Acacia Mall Rooftop.

With the region’s top fashion designers set to showcase their freshest collections at the annual do, KFW promises to be as exciting as ever!
There are a whole lot of tasty surprises too with  Uganda Waragi, this year’s official beverage sponsor poised to rump up the week  with their hip and classy cocktails, already billed as being ‘irresistibly tasty’. This year, Kampala’s only true red carpet affair is a ‘can’t miss’ event for Kampala’s trendy and chic fashionistas as it is set to thrill as much as it promises to inspire.
The event is organized by Gloria Wavamuno who is a professional fashion designer that has worked with acclaimed fashion designers like Ozwald Boateng.

Other designers set to rock the catwalk, some of whom featured at last year’s highly successful event are Jose Hendo, Martha Jambo   Kwesh, Haute Baso, Definition Africa, Vogue Atelier, Catherine & Sons, Gloria Wavamuno, J&KAINEMBABAZI, MD and Morine Designers.

The Kampala Fashion Week is an organization that was created to guide and provide educational knowledge on both the creative and business aspect of the fashion industry. The message is to create, inspire and motivate the virtues of art from talented individuals with the aim of creating sustainable growth and strength for young and old brands.‎
