Husband to local artiste Stecia Mayanja has been re-arrested – Xrated.ug

LOCAL businessman Abbas Mubiru, husband to local artiste Stecia Mayanja has been re-arrested by police in Bunamwaya having failed to pay a debt amounting to over sh320,000.

Abbas was first arrested on Monday evening and released on Tuesday morning in Kitebi, Rubaga Municipality after he failed to pay sh200000 to a mobile money agent. The agent, Andrew Sekagyoozi, claims that after Mubiru ordered for a mobile money transaction to his wife Stecia Mayanja and Alex Katongole, he failed to pay. “The agent sent sh100000 to each of them.

Mubiru then started looking for the money in his pockets claiming that he might have dropped it in Kibuye” Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango said.

He was given five hours to refund it but he failed and that’s when the agent alerted police,” he added.

Onyango however adds that shortly after, another resident of Bunamwaya filed another case against Mubiru accusing him of failing to honour the agreement that they had signed with him of paying 40,000 shillings every week to borrow his private car.

Mubiru hired a vehicle where he had to pay sh40000 per week but so far two months have passed and he hasn’t seen a coin” Onyango said. “When the man tried to remind him, Mubiru instead vandalized the car and parked it in the man’s compound” he added.
