Eddy Kenzo wins Artiste of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards

When Eddy Kenzo was announced last Saturday as the winner for song of the year at the Uganda Entertainment awards, he was nowhere to be seen. It was on Sunday night that we got to know he has shunned the Ugandan Awards to go and attend Nigerian Awards held in New York.

The singer bagged another award which he will put next to the recently won prestigious B.E.T accolade. He was awarded as African Artiste of the year.
It is evident that the music industry in Uganda is growing thanks to our artistes, Kenzo managed to beat singers like Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz, Kenya’s Sauti Sol, South Africa’s AKA and Ghana’s Sarkodie with who he was in the same category.
The sitya Loss star has been in and out of the country ever since his sitya loss song and video went viral.
