It had never been anywhere in Uganda where toddlers are given opportunities to earn good money. It started in Tanzania when singer Diamond Platinum and Ugandan Socialite had their newly born baby becoming an Ambassador of a children’s clothing store in Tanzania. A few months ago when Barbra Kyagulanyi singer Bobi Wine’s wife was pregnant, there were rumors going on that the baby will become an Ambassador of 7 days International Limited. It was not actually a rumour, th company earlier this week unveiled Bobi Wine’s three months old Shine Suubi Nakaayi as their brand Ambassador.
The two month old will be the Ambassador for 7 days diapers up to when she stops using diapers, this will be a period of about one year.
Speaking to Bobi Wine’s Wife Barbra Kyagulanyi, she says that the baby got the deal when she (Barbie) was still pregnant. “When I used to work at 7 days, the Managing Director Evelyn Pang told me not to unveil the babies face to the media because she is going to become the 7days brand Ambassador when she is born and that the face will be unveiled when the deal is sealed” Barbie said.
Both Bobi Wine and Barbie refused to reveal the price that is attached on the one year deal.
