Allan Kato, a visionary social entrepreneur, is making waves with the imminent registration of his brainchild—the Allan Children’s Foundation. Established in 2019, this foundation has been a beacon of hope for Uganda’s youth, with a core mission of bridging the opportunity gaps that often hinder their growth.

Kato’s commitment to the cause is evident in the foundation’s focus on empowering young Ugandans. The foundation’s initiatives revolve around providing comprehensive training interventions that empower the youth to acquire valuable skills for employability and entrepreneurship. Based in Kampala, Kato’s foundation strives to create a pathway for youth to secure stable employment or embark on their own ventures.

Known as “Iconic Kent Kris,” Kato’s journey is a source of inspiration. Born in Makerere Kikoni, Kawempe division, he progressed through Makerere Primary School, Kasubi Family Primary School, and New Styles Secondary School. Today, his efforts are dedicated to transforming lives in his community.

The foundation’s early years saw it rescue 13 children from the streets of Kampala in 2019, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. With a focus on nurturing and empowering, the foundation’s care has expanded to encompass over 50 children who find refuge and support. Situated in Wakiso, the Allan Children’s Foundation stands as a testament to Kato’s dedication to creating a better future for Uganda’s young generation.
